Spring brings in blossoms and flowers but this time, there is a fresh new fragrance in the air - Eva Longoria’s signature perfume, “Eva”. Many celebrities try to go the further mile by launching their own perfumes but what is it that sets apart the Desperate Housewives star’s scent from the rest? For starters, it is crafted especially for people with perfume allergies.

Eva wore a ravishing black beaded Rafael Cennamo cocktail dress to the perfume launch at her Beso restaurant in Los Angeles on the 27th of April, which was also attended by a host of celebrities. Her simple yet stylish jewelry choice for the black number came as a pleasant surprise. Instead of going for chandelier earrings, which would have been an ideal alternative, she opted for a subtle pair of crystal studs and her emerald cut wedding ring, set in white gold. Perhaps she wanted to shine the spotlight on her perfume by keeping her bling simple but we can’t help but notice the gorgeous Latina’s elegant jewelry choice. This goes to say that sometimes less is indeed more.

So if you’re unsure about what to wear for an evening occasion, just bring on the crystals! Try a pair of sterling silver cubic zirconia studs, which is an extraordinarily affordable alternative to real crystals or diamonds. Beautiful CZ earrings are simply classic for the day and understatedly elegant for the night and are an invaluable basic accessory for your jewelry box.

Regarding Eva’s perfume, she told Women’s Wear Daily magazine that since she herself was allergic to perfumes, she decided to create her own citrusy fragrance which Eva describes as light, fresh, unique and sexy. Well she’s made it crystal clear that it’s not just her perfume that can be sported by every woman but also her chic jewelry style.
