Paris Hilton's True Colors

Paris Hilton has not always made the right decisions in life. But when it comes to her wardrobe, boy oh boy, the hotel heiress sure knows how to sparkle (almost). She was spotted at Roberstson Boulevard with her sister, Nicky Hilton, in Los Angeles recently, doing what she does best. Shopping of course! But did her dress do her justice?

Paris served as eye candy for the paparazzi, literally, wearing a long rainbow-like striped maxi gown, the colors of which may have been right for the summer but overall, made her look rather like a colorful party balloon or a pregnant woman in her first trimester.

She could have really shined had the dress been converted into a short vibrant tank top, matched with a pair of black-blue denims. Nonetheless her jewelry may have been the saving grace for her, during the diva’s day out.

The multi-millionaress simply could not leave her gold behind as she accessorized with a jeweled headband, chunky gold bracelet & a gold cocktail ring on either hand. And how could one not miss the overpowering multihued bib necklace? The neck piece was without doubt, the showstopper of her look and comprised of a yellow crochet centerpiece surrounded by a combination of colorful crochet designs and large irregular-shaped beads.

Well you certainly need not to be a millionaress to whip on a fancy beaded necklace. Beads are all the rage this summer and they come in various sizes and shapes. You can try a beaded necklace or bracelet that really helps in revealing your playful and fun persona.

As for Paris Hilton who is usually seen in pink, pink & pink, due credit needs to be given for her new fashion efforts. The 70s fashion hippy look suits you girl, but next time, go easy on the stripes!

Kristen Stewart: Twilight Snow White at Eclipse Premiere

Thousands of Twilight fans went over the moon (pun intended) yesterday as they finally got to witness their favorite Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner on the gothic black carpet (that’s right, black!) for the most-awaited movie premiere of the year.

They had been waiting all week, in make-shift tents outside the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre with the hope of getting spots near the black carpet and their patience finally paid off. I was over the moon for a different reason altogether: Kristen Stewart took a risk and wore WHITE! Halleluiah! It’s about time girl.

She looked neither like a vampire nor a werewolf but a contemporary angel, who finally decided to come out of her black couture comfort heaven and shine like the pearly white moon itself. Now this is what I call a reverse fashion eclipse. She rocked a white backless, one-sleeved Ellie Saab mini gown with Big Lips 120 suede pumps from Christian Louboutin.

I must admit that before checking out whatever Kristen’s wearing, I always find myself searching for her lucky necklace with the tiny circular pendant. And not surprisingly, I found the chain, peeking at me, naughtily from her neckline. Kristen’s become inseparable with her lucky charm, I tell you, as she wears it with almost every outfit & not necessarily for show. A single gold ring adorned her left hand and completed her pure angelic look.

The bold change in wardrobe definitely seemed to reflect in her positive attitude as she looked comfortable & happy, graciously pleasing her fans by posing with them for photos. She did not look one bit the publicity-shy Kristen that we normally see. On June 30^th, we will get to know what happens to Bella amidst the war of vampires & werewolves but the mystery behind the lucky chain still remains.
